Audio only episodes of Real Time with Bill Maher are available on a feed usually on Tuesday or Wednesday after the Friday they air on TV. Oh and a lot of people probably get a lot of enjoyment out of all their niche podcasts, but there's a real good reason why a handful of people have posted nothing but "Uhh Yeah Dude /thread."

I frequent http://thefpl.us/ for terrible Internet things, specifically the Roy Orbison wrapped in clingfilm episode or the dragon dildo forums. It's like the old Portal of Evil forums in podcast form.

I always thought liberals want to help everyone but Three Olives absolutely unironically hates poor people. Like, 'round them up and fire them into the sun' hates poor people.

Nah, one of the many myths of Three Olives. I'm more a liberal quasi-socialist with a dash of a caste system enforced by rigid social structure mixed in kind of guy. All Olives are equal it's just some are more equal than others.

Three-Phase posted:Is NPR bad now? It is a brand name now. Unfortunately it attracts shallow individuals who are at their core followers who are nerviously looking around for a social group to belong to. These individuals are more interested in crowing that they "listen to NPR" rather than actually understanding any of the topics discussed on one of the programs. It is kind of like short guy syndrome. Some short guys are very insecure about their height; and rather than become accomplished and good at something to boost their confidence they are the obnoxious guy at a bar, always attention seeking and needy. Brad Williams is an example of a short guy who does not have short guy syndrome.

Premeditated Toast posted:Nerd Poker: Dungeons and Dragons with Brian Posehn and Friends is fun. Him and his friends, which include comedians and writers such as Blaine Capatch and Gerry Duggan play a D&D campaign. Good rec. Lots of gallows humor and constant campaign derailing. Portals posted:sawbones - terrible historical medicine Entertaining THS posted:both of dan carlin's podcasts are entertaining, common sense is sometimes loving nuts but i can appreciate it Yeah I occasionally listen to Common Sense and all I can do is grin. I used to try to analyze Dan (and Ben's) political leanings but they seemed to wildly vary from topic to topic. Then I realized, you just can't pigeon hole this guy. Common Sense is a lot like getting a usually introverted but very passionate history professor liquored up in his favorite bar then watch him slip his chain and letting all the crazy, smart and politically incorrect observations wash over you like a tsunami. I don't agree with most of the views Dan has on Common Sense but I always find it worth listening to because I know I will be getting a educated and well defended position on a topic that I can find literally nowhere else.
