Blur owned. It was a very past paced racing game with weapons ala Mario Kart, but it used modern sleek looking cars. Basically, if Mario Kart and Grand Turismo had drunken sex and had a baby, it would be Blur. It sold like absolute dogshit because Activision are idiots, but it was (and is) hands down better than Mario Fart. Blur was the poo poo, but they had an "open beta" that lasted almost a month or something. By the time the game came out everyone was already sick of it  Also it probably shouldn't have been $60.
