also both vista and 7 were butt ugly. 8 is prettier but they put the start menu on a second desktop somehow and messed up a lot of stuff i didnt have to experience firsthand but read many a funy/insightful yospost about

LOL @ the dumbass windows 8 thing about taking out GPU window compositing or whatever because  -~= MY GPU RESOURCES =~- edit: and Windows 8 font renderer doesn't do subpixel antialiasing
