seriously though if you wait like 10 seconds max the applications close peacefully and the computer shuts down, this is a good feature and the op is a dumbnass

it's a nice excuse occasionally when IT forces a update and reboot and i get to basically be useless for half hour + while it reboots. or more. stupid poo poo.

if u press cancel to stop shutting down it closes all the programs right away and shuts down.

i like it when a windows update fucks up and you get that problem where it'll hang at "shutting down" forever until you force it off. windows is really cool and good and well made.

i like when windows update wants you to restart so you close what you were working on first and then restart and then windows update didnt notice you restarted and you have to restart again from its own resatrt button
