Blackberry will be making Ford's next "infotainment system" which sounds like a baby's toy, but is actually not a toy or an entertainment system. it's just a computer that provides GPS navigation and voice commands for the radio and telephone calls. you can't play any video games on itquote:It also will integrate better with the Apple (AAPL, Tech30) iPhone, allowing users to access Siri hands-free. this has basically nothing to do with blackberry. They're using QNX, which is the base operating system on which the new blackberries are built, but it is basically just a Unix system for industrial applications. Lots of cars use QNX. Blackberry is not going to be involved in any way. The part about dumping Microsoft is true because ford sync was absolute garbage, but this isn't going to fix that.
