Just out of pure curiosity, can you elaborate on your statement about how "The reality of extreme intelligence is that it's often a prison for those who have it"? I'm really intrigued by that comment, and in no way consider myself to be Genius, but I know without being overly boisterous that I'm a fairly intelligent individual. I have struggled with maintaining my focus in simple situations, almost as a defiant mentality that wants to pay no mind to something so basic. Meanwhile my mind is working on complex problems, thinking philosophically, or wanting to create. Apparently I'm neither a right nor left brain dominant person. I use both sides equally to resolve things. For the sake of good spirited contradiction, it took me to the age of 32 to realize that I am a creative thinker by nature. I understand the importance of process, but what sends me into flow state is creating. Artistically, musically, linguistically, etc. I have plenty of faults, such as lack of disciplined organization, tons of restlessness, all or nothing minded, meaning I'm either disinterested or so into the process that I'm able to justify not getting any sleep for the next day. It's almost like my brain won't just relax sometimes. As stated before, I'm not classifying myself as a genius. I'm just curious what your statement meant. While I'm easy to get along with in general with plenty of great friends, I commonly feel misunderstood and through self-deprecating humor call myself difficult in many ways. This has hindered past relationships. What attracted her in the beginning becomes frustrating. Spontaneity turns into procrastination. And sometimes they act like you're the problem even when you're clear that you have many unique traits that set your apart. I was just let go of an 8.5 job last week, a job that I liked in the beginning but realized that I hated my ending role when peace covered my uncertainty. I felt alive again, and it freshness clear that I let the negative words of one or two change by personal outlook. LONG story short, thanks for reading an please elaborate on what you meant. Learning is important by the way. It allows your access to more information during creative process. The magic lies in combining then to create something utterly new. I love it. Good talk, though, with a powerful message. What if Shakespeare simply recited scripts instead of creating brilliant scripts of his own? What if Hendrix simply rocked out air guitar to the radio playing other's music? What if you just went through a lifetime regurgitating the same information absorbed through years of school and believing in their version of success instead of taking the road less traveled chasing your passions enthusiastically and so relentlessly that every day you truly understand what it means to live on purpose!
