In case you weren't being facetious, "geek the mage first" is an old Shadowrun slang joke alongside good advice, "geek" meaning to kill in the same way that the game uses terms like chummer and drek and other made up slang all the time. Still, it's really good advice when playing Shadowrun in general. Always geek the mage first, alongside "shoot straight, conserve your ammo, and never make a deal with a dragon". This being super important because mages are the ultimate wild cards- it's impossible to know what they can do and how hard they can do it until they do. The best way to deal with them is murdering them before they get the chance to show you. apostateCourier fucked around with this message at 23:15 on Apr 11, 2015 |
