Hey, PI.

For around a year now, my dog has had a small, fluid filled bump on his ear flap. It started off around the size of a pimple, but it's currently just smaller than a dime. It's perfectly round and dome shaped, and if you press on it it feels liquid-filled, not solid. He doesn't seem to be messing with it at all. No increased scratching or head shaking, though he wasn't happy with me handling it to get a picture. I've been telling my parents to get it looked at all year while I was away at school, but they were distracted by the poor health and the recent passing of our first dog.

My dog is just 3, and the bump first showed up when he was 2.

Here's some pictures of the bump, the first was taken about two weeks ago and the second was taken today:

And finally, a picture of him to pay the pet tax. Also my other dog's leg and ear.

Why haven't you taken the dog to a vet, a veterinary doctor will know more about animal anatomy than an internet

Because I'm a college student and my dogs are really my parents'. Can't make them do anything.

6. DO NOT TRY TO USE THIS FORUM TO REPLACE YOUR VET - the answer will be that you need to see your vet. This is because you need to see your vet. Why would you trust random internet weirdos over someone who's actually seen your pet?

Or lance it for funsies and tell us if spiders come out.
