I love watching videos of renowned intelligent people geeking out as if they were conversing privately. They tend to make obscure references, go on tangents, and delve deep into stimulating topics without abandon. Here's a video of author Erik Larson (author of The Devil in the White City) speaking with Conan O'Brien in his Serious Jibber-Jabber web series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTerrIBBV58 Another one I like is Adam Savage (Mythbusters) talking to David Chang (Momofuku chef) on The Talking Room: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAGIpTupW54 I'm not looking for any typical interview where a famous journalist interviews another famous person. I'm looking for exciting insightful conversation involving successful people who don't seem to be aware an audience needs to be entertained by what they have to say. They should be trading anecdotes and all adding to the conversation equally. Runners up: Paul F. Tompkins and Aziz Ansari talk at the 15 minute mark about suits and dressing well (something they both know a lot about) but then stop themselves because they think they lost the audience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmDhcDXgZfA Ricky Gervais, Louis CK, Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock talk stand up comedy but Gervais' clear lack of experience subtracts from the fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKY6BGcx37k
