That makes me really curious. If it is not too much, could you tell me about your very first appointment? Was it completely awkward? Was it roughly what you expected?

It was a lot smoother than I expected, and it was actually kinda uplifting. You hear lots of horror stories about things that happen, but I think the majority of them happen from straight dudes going too far/assaulting women sex workers. Which is terrible obviously but male workers get a lot less flak, probably because it's a more niche market and the last thing gay dudes want is to get in more trouble.

It was kinda awkward the way I was setting things up since I didn't quite have a routine down yet and I didn't quite have my voice down yet either (as in, the kind of persona I put on that's a little more, promiscuous and bubbly than normal) so I probably came off as overly eccentric. But once it came down to it it all felt pretty natural and I enjoyed myself as much as I could.

Is there an archetype that most of your clients fit into? Bears? Sleezy politicians/used car salesmen? Overly well-dressed professionals? Greasy truckers?

Thanks for making this thread! I don't have a lot of questions, but I'd be interested in how many clients end up being flaky, and how do you handle the ones that are?

Runs the spectrum between average and bear. I don't expect to get twinky boys like myself. They're usually hairy.

I actually haven't had any flakes yet, and I dunno what I'd actually do in that situation. Nothing much you can do, other than contact them and accept you wasted time.

Have you ever had a client who wanted to pay to give you a bj? Have you gotten any unusual requests, and what lines if any have you already worked out for yourself? If so, what side of that line does poop fall under?

Haven't had anyone like that yet. I haven't gotten too many odd requests, one off the top of my head that I didn't want to do is wrestle with some guy. But that's not really a hard line I just didn't want to wrestle with this guy. Poop is like, one of the only things I'd give a very hard no too, I advertise myself as being "very kink friendly" bc I am, but I don't think I've done anything weirder than crossdressing (which I did anyway even before this because I had the body type for it)

HOO'S HEAD GOES ALL THE WAY AROUND?
Would you say that the sex work is more lucrative money-wise than your musician gigs? If so, can you give a softball estimate of how much you make a day/month/year?

Are you on PrEP? If not, you really should consider it.

If I were human, I believe my response would be: 'go to hell'.
Are your prices significantly different from the straight sex worker equivalent pricing? I know it varies but you said you did a lot of research so I feel that this question has come up during that process.

Have you had many private/romantic encounters or relationships OP?

What, if anything, do you think will be different about building or maintaining those sorts of relationships while sex work is your primary source of income?

Doesn't this vary significantly by age? I noticed that my libido dropped off drastically around my mid-twenties (I still feel attraction, but it rarely pops into my mind unless I happen to encounter an attractive woman).

How often do you get STD checks? I recall from darkpriest's "ask me about working in porn" thread that all performers get tested something like every month or so.
