Any recommendations on how to handle PFAS claims with the VA? I only ask because over the past handful of years I have developed severe thyroid disease with other major complications like seizures, losing consciousness- it really just gets worse from there. I've been to multiple endocrinologists, neurologists, and specialists. I've had CT scans, MRIs, blood tests- you name it! No one seems to have any idea what's going on. I'm in the process of watching my career corrode and decay so at this point I'm just grasping at straws and wondering if it might be a PFAS related thing. There's some documented information that Vandenberg was on the worst end of PFAS things: https://www.sanluisobispo.com/news/local/article252155458.html I have other information and a lot of detailed records (this has been going on for years after all), but I don't want to just data dump on this post if there isn't much of a know-how on how to proceed forward anyway. I've floated the idea that this might be PFAS related with endocrinologists at different VA's here in Chicago to which the general answer is "well we can't talk about that". What's the best way to approach the VA if I want to see if my problem is PFAS related?
