SEO was really confusing for me because I never know who was using my work, and for what. I just had a client ID # on a writing marketplace site. I'm not entirely sure if Bangalore Escorts or Strawberry Girls were actually companies that existed at some point and now the spammers are stealing each other's spam and tweaking it slightly. Or if they were always just ways to get hits for hookers that don't really exist. The internet is a strange place indeed

what is this writing marketplace exactly. it does sound a little awkward. did they tell you they were a fetish place explicitly? cause otherwise they'd have to change their business plan a little based on your description. one guess is they just wanted to be #1 on google for "sex tourism" and just sell ad space related to that.

It's called "TextBroker". There's a number of similar sites, though. A lot of the articles were just a keyword, a target length, some guidelines, and that's it. So it was probably one of those, where you have almost nothing to go on. So I just had fun with it. The less specific they are, it seems, the more they are just going to use it as spam and not as something actually useful to visitors. It was pretty profitable for a while though. Sure beats working retail, and pays a little better.
