I really like these guys. Knower is Louis Cole and Genevieve Atardi. Louis Cole is a multi-instrumentalist (drums seem to be his main instrument) and Genevieve is a vocalist. They've been around for a good 5 years now, previously known by their two names, and switched to Knower a couple years ago. The best I can do to kind of sum up their genre is jazz influenced electronic music. Most of it is uptempo and funky with a lot of tight synth stuff. Crazy changes. I think they're probably closer to the jazz world than the electronic world, at least in terms of their peers (bassist Tim Lefebevre collaborates with them a lot, they show up with Snarky Puppy and Kneebody here and there as well). They came about around the same time as Pomplamoose and are often compared with them - they do everything, including music videos, themselves, have a handful of pop covers out there, and are a couple - but they are 100% less boring and annoying. Anyway, they have a new record coming out on Friday and I'm a huge fan and figured I'd post some of their stuff here.
