Problem description: PC froze while playing Rocket League, and now it won't boot properly. I'm guessing a hardware failure of some kind. I basically want to know if it's worth replacing whichever component is bad or if I should just go ahead and build a whole new PC like I've been thinking. This PC plays everything I want to play. It depends how cheap a fix is, really. I have video of the failing boot process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AODESYJG25Q Attempted fixes: Deactivating the unlocked fourth core, deactivating one core at a time in case it's a CPU issue. None worked. I am unable to see if it's the video card due to having no backup cards and the motherboard lacks on-board video. Recent changes: Absolutely zero changes since upgrading to Windows 10 the moment it came out, and no hardware changes since I built the drat thing over 5 years ago. -- Operating system: e.g. Windows 10 System specs: Straight from my Order History on Newegg: Location: USA I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes and yes.

That looks like a dead videocard. If you have the scratch to build a new Intel-based machine definitely do that, but you could probably get that thing back up and running with a replacement videocard. Any card fast enough for games would bottleneck severely on a system that slow, however.
