it was always funny in dc where the metro and buses and poo poo were always covered by these kind of slick lobbyist ads, i guess aimed at The Actual Human Beings Who Make Governance Decisions i remember one of the local channels, cbs or whoever, during one of those debt clock showdowns put aside 5 seconds per commercial break to show the debt clock counting down, i guess as a public service to inform the congressmen who were watching cbs

NPR literally has an article up where they interview a billionaire oil tycoon about the drop in oil prices. http://www.npr.org/2016/05/08/477046275/is-american-oil-dead-t-boone-pickens-says-yes-but-only-for-now surprise surprise he: -thinks it'll rebound because... -he doesn't think alternative energy is viable for much and, -he's voting Trump It's a weird piece, to say the least. I could even read it as a backhanded critique of Big Oil mentality if it wasn't, you know, NPR.
