counter strike is fun if you dont take it seriously and try to have fun to the detriment of tryhards on your team guy on your team yellin at you? called you a human being? just do exactly what he told you to not do. simpel hell, just go deagle in the middle of the match and wait for them 2 yell at you

pro cs strats: - always yell at your teammates when they make the slightest mistake - yell "gently caress!" or "bullshit!" on mumble every time you die - when you are losing make sure your team knows how lovely and garbage the map you are on is - accuse anyone doing decently who has a 7 or 8 digit steamID of cheating (i dont know if this is a thing anymore)

This thread has me thinking about playing again so I just checked prices a few minutes ago and it seems prices have tanked, so I may buy them again!

i remember there was a period of like several months where i would hang out and play on a counterstrike:source server that was all surf maps, and you could use chat commands to pipe in terrible music or comedy audio clips then eventually the surf maps just got more and more freakishly hardcore and less fun to play on did anyone else play surf maps? is that still a thing?

driving cars in that game was a skill in and of itself, considering you could RUN YOURSELF OVER WHILE DRIVING, it took some care to learn what not to do, some laws of physics did apply sorta, slamming into walls at full speed (90% of the time iirc) resulted in death, although it was because the car clipped into the wall and the game basically thought you fell from a really high spot and so did max falling damage to you.
