in grade 8 i remember a kid gave a speech about gopher in front of the whole school as part of a public speaking assignment he talked about some one moving his mouse and opening and closing the cdrom, at the time i realized he was owned with netbus but i don't think anyone ever corrected him

my mom signed us up for a class on "using the internet" at the library cause she wanted to know how. I figured it'd be easy cause id already been peeping stuff on netscape. they sit us down in front of these amber screens and start talking about "gophers" and im like lady i just type what i want into metacrawler that's my one single gopher protocol story
