Hi!

I recently began watching "The Last Ship" and rediscovered my old faible for naval warfare. I used to play Harpoon and Harpoon 3 as a teen. After reinstalling Harpoon 3 iI realized the UI was "too much" I don't want to be thrown back into the 90ies. Is there a good "hard" naval simulator you can recommend? One with a huge database of Jane's, slow paced and unforgiving? And one, that doesn't punish me on the interface level?

Thank you!

Our God..... is an awesome God
There's a game called Naval War: Arctic Circle that's basically a modern Harpoon. It's not really that great a game, though, and there may be better Harpoon clones out there but it's a place to start.

Probably what you're looking for. I think it was 50% off last major Steam sale also to offset that wacky price tag.

Word. Command is the defacto successor to Harpoon in all ways. Just wait for a sale, of course.
