I'm playing 1 right now for the first time and it seems pretty cool. ps1 game that still has the square SNES aesthetic but with more room for detail on the pixel art so it looks great. And it has this cool narrative structure where the 3 main characters aren't really related to each other and drift all over the continent, and you can swap between them frequently to check in on their stories and guide them on their own path

if i recall correctly, wild arms also has some interesting puzzles that use zelda style tools to solve. like lufia.
