Problem description: I recently upgraded Chrome to version 54.0.2840.71 m and ever since I did this, the font size in Chrome is larger than before. I now have to set all of my pages to 80% zoom for the font size to be what it was prior to the update. Also, it's not only an increase in font size on web pages, the text size of my bookmarks on the bookmark bar is also larger.

Attempted fixes: I've tried restarting my computer a few times just to see if that would help (I don't know why it would help in this instance, but restarting seems to fix 90% of computer problems so it was worth a shot), but it didn't do anything. I also thought that it may have been some weird change in the windows accessability settings, but the font size is an issue ONLY in Chrome.

Recent changes: I recently upgraded Chrome to version 54.0.2840.71 m

In Chrome 54 they fixed a bug that was causing Chrome to display text smaller than intended, Chrome will now obey your system DPI settings. More details and how to change the setting globally or revert Chrome to the previous behavior are here.

Thank you! I tried both fixes that were described; the first one didn't work but the second one did.
