Problem description: I am getting an annoying popup saying I won a thousand dollars on my iPhone's Facebook app, and upon looking this up, the general solution was to go into Settings and delete all your history and data. I did not know this would remove my open tabs in Safari.

Attempted fixes: They are not available in my recently closes windows list. That is blank.

Operating system: iOS 10.1.1

System specs: iPhone 6s Plus with 64 gb of storage

Location: US

I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes. Just about all answers point to downloading softare that you need to pay for.

 I doubt it, but don't really know anything about iOS. You might try checking in the iPhone thread in Inspect Your Gadgets.
