This movie is great. I agree with the recommendation. Gorgeous set design and cinematography. Clever writing, with some very funny moments. Hot lesbians. Weird Japanese tentacle obsession. Great film.

Not too spoilery description of the basics of the plot setup follows: There is a wealthy Korean man who has made a lot of money off of the Japanese. He has attempted to make himself as Japanese as possible, picking customs and habits, modifying his home to a Japanese style, etc. His daughter is isolated in his compound after the death of her mother. A young upstart Korean con man gets a poor young Korean girl hired as a handmaiden in the home so she can help him woo the daughter in an attempt to steal her inheritance. Drama and comedy and wonderful filmmaking ensues.
