For me its always been Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill, which is why I got really hyped up for the next year's Thor movie knowing both were in it.

Other actors I like seeing pop up in cameos/bit roles/starring roles? Ron Perlman and Michael Keaton

I always had a soft spot for William Fichtner. Dude was amazing in Drive Angry, and I also liked him in Black Hawk Down and The Dark Knight.

I like both too, and that's a pretty mean trick of the studio to try and get me interested in a movie that will undoubtedly be utter poo poo.

Yeah there really is no movie that isn't made better by having Harry Dean Stanton in it.

The biopic on him (Partly Fiction) only adds to how great he is:

What about your legacy?

Don't care.

How do you want to be remembered?

Don't care. I'll be dead.

Also:

Did you ever consider the theatre?

No, working on films is low effort high reward. Theatre is high effort low reward. Definitely films.

The biography of Jack Nicholson including stories about Nicholson getting pissed at HDS for having loud orgies at their shared place in the 60s only adds to his legend too.

Yeah that sucks because he was one of my favorite character actors before it turned out he was a Pedo

Jack Black is a guy I always like showing up, may not work all the talent, but he always gives 100% effort which I appreciate

Also Warren Oates.

He's obviously great in his starring or co-starring roles, but he's also great when he just shows up in The Twilight Zone or Lost in Space or Thriller or whatever.

See also "Two Lane Blacktop" which had Warren Oates AND Harry Dean Stanton.
