Problem description: My iPod which hasn't been updated for ages is returning the message "Software Update Failed, An error occurred downloading IOS 9.3.5" Attempted fixes: Googling the problem has not helped, have tried on two networks. According to google this iPod should be capable of taking IOS 9 upwards. I am trying to update to use apps that require 8.0 Recent changes: None, I have next to no internet access. iPod has not been updated (or had the music changed) for quite a while.. -- Operating system: IOS 7.1.1 System specs: Gen 5, Model: ME643ZP/A 16gig Location: New Zealand I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yup!.
