finally got bwee to sit still long enough to snap one picture of him the kids are 2 pounds 5 oz now. once bwee's eye clears up completely it's off to the vets and then they're available for adoption

kitties met their new people today. it's a nice retired couple and their adult son. they've had kitties their whole lives and wanted to adopt a pair so they could be buds the girls get spade this week and go to their new home in 2 weeks this is scoodley-doo in hubby's lap this morning

kitties got their spay surgeries earlier this week. Bwee decided to be a drama queen and refuse to eat the next day so i had to drive to the grocery store to buy baby food and feed her with a spoon, which was only moderately successful at feeding the kitty but very successful at covering me in baby food fortunately she woke up this morning starving and hasn't stopped eating all day. baby kitties can be jerks

the rescue got an email from the kitties' new dad today: "On Tuesday we picked up Bweebop (or Lucy, as we have renamed her) and Scoodley (renamed Lizzy) and brought them home. We are delighted with them and they seem happy with us. Like other cats we have brought into our home we are starting them off in our room. Generally new kittens have hidden under our bed for as long as long as a day or two. When I first let Lucy and Lizzy out of the carrier they went under the bed too - for all of 5 or 10 minutes. Then they both came right out and have been playing with each other and with us ever since. They are eating well and have been using their litter box without a single mishap. We are planning to gradually introduce them to the rest of the house over the next week or so. Thank everyone for helping us find our new kitties. We couldn't be happier"
