 Welcome to the Something Awful Top Dog Tournament! 
The Something Awful Top Dog Tournament is a competition to determine the top dog across this whole forum. Think you know a pooch who's up for the task? Nominate a dog, win the subforum round, and take on the top dogs from subforums across SA!
How does it work? 
The three stages of the Top Dog Tournament are:
1) Subforum Nomination - Each participating subforum has a nomination thread for posters to nominate potential Top Dogs
2) Subforum Voting - Each subforum votes to determine the champion that will represent them in the forumwide vote
3) Forumwide Voting - The champions from every subforum go head to head to determine the Top Dog of the Tournament
This thread is Stage 2: Subforum Voting
The nominees for the Let's Play champion are listed at the bottom of this post. Choose wisely, as our subforum is nominating a dog to compete against all the other top dogs across the forums!
Voting will be open until at least Wednesday, March 8.

- How should I choose who to vote for?
It's up to you! Maybe it's a dog that makes you  Maybe it's a dog that makes you  Maybe it's a dog that represents the id of our subforum. Vote however you like!
- Can I vote in subforums I don't actively participate in?
Definitely! Please visit all the participating subforums so you don't miss any dogs.
- Where can I talk about the dogs that I like and dislike?
The voting threads are a great place to talk about the dogs you like! If you dislike any dogs you will probably be banned. Just kidding! But please try your hardest to like every dog you see.
- Won't the big subforums crowd out the little ones during the final vote?
Who knows and who cares!
- Who should I talk to if I have questions?
The mod of each subforum is a good place to start. You can also ask tournament organizer pig slut lisa any questions or post in QCS.

Hobbes
Hobbes is a good dog because he loves to keep your feet warm by laying on them while he begs for belly rubs.
Stanzie
Stanzie is a good dog because she comes up to my side of the bed every morning, tail wagging, for a headscratch.
Lesser Dog
A good dog who builds snowmen, enjoys pats, and protects the innocent from bad people.
Dogmeat
No matter where I go, he's always there when I need him.
Rush
Do you know of any other dogs that can turn into pogo sticks, hoverboards, and submarines? I didn't think so.
Missile
Is good at barking, swapping positions of two similar-shaped objects and traversing through stable time loops (the slow way) to save his master because that's apparently what Good Doggies do.
That Dog From The Road Warrior
This dog is cool and good and helps Mad Max fight the bad guys but let's be honest they're the real star of the movie they can hold their own in most situations and made the Gyrocaptain look like a goddamned chump I mean look at the dexterity and discipline that dog has to hold the man captive at gun point especially with tasty rabbits running around on the roadside just in the periphery truly a good dog but they also care about their master and are loyal and all those good things about dogs but also they are great because this is a video game subforum and this dog is the influence for Fallout's Dogmeat so if we're going to nominate Dogmeat I feel I would neglectful if I didn't ensure that the Mad Max dog was also nominated since they are the original you see it would be like if this was the Something Awful Top Snake Tournament and someone nominated Solid Snake but nobody bothered to nominate Snake Plissken it would be a goddamned tragedy is what it would be anyways that's why I have nominated this dog the best dog the dog from Mad Max dog I hope you all like and subscribe best wishes this dog better win.
