What are facility fees?

The answer is, mate, because I want to do you slowly. There has to be a bit of sport in this for all of us. In the psychological battle stakes, we are stripped down and ready to go. I want to see those ashen-faced performances; I want more of them. I want to be encouraged. I want to see you squirm.

They're paid each time a club's match is broadcast on TV in the UK, with a guarantee of at least 10 broadcasts per club per season. So Liverpool actually had the most games broadcast this season, followed by Chelsea/City/United.

I thought Arsenal would get a lot more money but I think they just fell out of the title race sooner than expected this year.

Just to put this into perspective:

Sunderland got me than twice as much money for the TV rights than Bayern got in the Bundesliga.

I saw it a fair amount of it in America, maybe because I was in the Midwest where there are quite a few Bayern and Dortmund plastics

Maybe the Bundesliga should find a bad and expensive tv company to plough billions into the league and at the same time making live football inaccessible for the majority imo?

Which is stupid in itself because lots of Germans loathe Bayern. I was on exchange in Germany during the 1999 Champions League final, and it was a bunch of Brits rooting for Bayern because gently caress United vs a bunch of Germans rooting for United because gently caress Bayern

Yea, it's just a bunch of plastics that have old German ancestry who root for the best German club in the top German league. It's stupid as hell.

It's basically the great lakes region and a little west of it. The upper middle of the US. Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Dakotas... that region.

If bayern wanted good tv money maybe they should have tried to foster a competitive league instead of kneecapping everyone else and making a division less competitive than Scotland or Spain

there's loads of people who have lived in Germany in the Midwest. quite a few companies trade employees across the Atlantic and it's a popular destination for graduate school residencies.
