My grandparents lived in a small town on the Missouri River that was founded in one of the turn of the century immigration booms. The town's population was almost entirely made up of Dutch protestants or Czech catholics. I'm not sure how much animosity there ever was, but when my grandparents were ever telling me about one of their neighbors the first thing they would say is if they were Dutch or Czech.

Some remote family has a coat of arms that includes the Corsican flag. If you google it, you will understand why I was very confused when I first saw it. So I guess my family is racist against moors. Or is moors, way back. I'm still not sure.
