Problem description: When I play an Mp4 video I recorded through OBS studio, the video plays fine in W10's 'Movies & TV' app, but without sound in VLC and in particular Wondershare Filmora which is what I'm trying to use to edit it

Attempted fixes: Installed K-Lite codecs as suggested by wondershare, reinstalled Filmora. Thats pretty much it

Uninstall the K-Lite codec pack, it will causes issues and not help anything. The problem is likely that your media player programs are using the wrong audio device, I'd check the programs for audio output settings and/or disable any devices you're not actually using.

Uninstalled the codec pack, disabled unused playback devices. Tried playing music in VLC and it worked fine, before doing that though, so I don't think the audio device is the issue. At this point I'm resorting to just recording the audio from the video in OBS while it plays in W10's media player

Is this not working for ANY video, or just these particular videos?

Just these particular ones. I have a feeling it may be something to do with my OBS settings, but I recorded a separate video and the sound played back fine.
