For likes, I can assume that if you're into Lynch, you probably like Vertigo and The Wizard of Oz. I can't imagine anyone disliking Casablanca or 12 Angry Men. That leaves one more... I'm going to guess Raging Bull?

Three of those are don't like, two I do like.

Hints for the three incorrect ones:
- I've hated everything a particular director has made except for two more recent works of his. This is not one of those two.
- I've only seen one other film by this relatively new filmmaker and it's one of my favorite movies of its type, but this one I thought was garbage.
- This movie is a pile of crap that wastes a talented Oscar-winner.

Hints for the two correct ones:
- Underrated atmospheric B&W movie.
- I've liked everything I've seen from this director and this is no exception.

I'd say that only jerks like Lee J. Cobb's character would hate 12 Angry Men, but even he came around.

I don't actually hate it but the only time I watched it was a truly miserable experience because the script is pretty close to the book and its like i had to watch it twice in a row

Only two of those bolded are likes (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and King of Kong). The other three belong in my dislikes.

In which case I will swap your dislikes to include Lost in Translation, The grandmaster and Sonatine!

Welp, at least those two were the ones I was most confident in. Three more guesses for likes: X-men, The Thing and Raiders of the Lost Ark? (Assuming you wouldn't put both Star Wars and Indiana Jones on the list if they were in the same category, but you might be double bluffing.)

You're 4/5, but I really enjoyed The Grandmaster, and pretty much everything else WKW has done.

Ah ha! You also guessed two more of my likes :D
The Thing and Raiders of the Lost Ark. The only film you've left to get is my favourite film of all time!

And my final guess (it's 50/50) is your final dislike is Once Upon a Time in Anatolia.

So that leaves Wall-E and Aliens, neither of which I personally liked, but I find it harder to believe you'd call the former your favorite ever, so I'll go with Aliens.

And nope, I like all of Ceylan's films too. The Devil, Probably really wasn't my cup of tea.

Actually it is Wall-E. I have never enjoyed or loved a film as much as I do that one. It is the only film to have ever bested my absolute love of Raiders of the Lost Ark (which is my second favourite film of all time).

It has been scientifically proven that only odd numbered fast movies are any good, while evens are trash. This was confirmed by the newest movie which was a cinematic abortion.

Here's my block of ten:

Logan's Run
Phantom of the Paradise
Rio Bravo
Donnie Darko
Rollerball (1975)
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
American Beauty
The Mystery of Chessboxing
Blow-Up
Fried Green Tomatoes

(this was harder than I thought - I don't watch nearly as many movies as I want to and I tend to forget about the ones I dislike but don't dislike enough to actively hate)
