update: Nevermind, removing graphics drivers and reinstalling them fixed the problem.

Problem description: I open DOOM and continue my campaign game. I'm locked at 30fps according to Steam's fps counter and the in-game one. Yesterday I was staying well above 100fps! Other games (for example, Overwatch) easily stay above 100fps.

Attempted fixes: Toggled vsync to all available options with a game restart between. Tried the same in Nvidia control panel. Gsync on and off. Rebooted PC. Switched from ultra to low settings in game. Switched to lower resolutions. Tried on secondary 1920x1200 monitor. Toggled between fullscreen/windowed/borderless.

Recent changes: None that I can remember. I played Doom yesterday, did some programming, went to bed, tried Doom this morning.

System specs: i5 4570k, 32GB RAM, Asus Z87A motherboard, MSI GTX 1080, Acer XB270HU main monitor, two Dell 1920x1200 secondary monitors.
