Dellamorte Dellamore (which I think is released in the US as "Cemetery Man") is a good one. Black comedy with some surreal moments.

Zombies are supposed to be horrifying. Nowadays they are "cute" and they look nothing like dead people. If I posted actual real images of mutilated people and rotting corpses, everyone would get pissed off at me and I would get banned for being a disturbing creep and posting nsfw images. Zombies need to get back to that kind of shock and horror.

I kinda think they're a lovely plot mechanic. Either the zombies are so slow and plodding that the movie has to do the cheesy 80s stuff where people randomly walk off alone to get killed by the monster or they're so fast, numerous, and overwhelming that everyone mostly ends up dying in the movie (which I usually hate). But it works really good for Shaun of the Dead and like the new Dawn of the Dead because those movies are about dumbasses

I watched Zombie Holocaust yesterday and thought it was pretty cool, although the zombies didnt eat anyone they had cannibals doing that
