 it shines out b/c while the premise (and the basis of the comedy) is ridiculous, the actors play it out extremely straight. the drama, the emotions, the stakes are all real.

I am a bit concerned the premise would wear out its welcome in a feature length film

however, the fact that they refer to a competition as a "beat-off" is pure gold

I do not see it on netflix tho
