pretty good thrash stuff, hopefully doesn't interfere with tour ambitions
there's a guy who won a seat in NY city council who was a former lead singer for a hardcore punk band. he was also married in the lobby of bear sterns. if you tell these two facts to jello biafra his head will probably explode

the fact he was nearly bankrupted by a suit to keep the rest of the dead kennedys from licensing holiday in cambodia for a levis commercial leads me to believe that wouldn't come as a huge shock to him

It's a little bit juvenile, but it's simple and it's timeless.

We let it be known that Schnorkles, for a snack, eats tiny pieces of shit.

You're picturing it and you're talking about it. That's a win in my book.

the only thing that has mattered is that a party has gained control of the oval office and failed to make things better, thus empowering the other party, and so shall it be for the eternity that is american politics

in not as good news, seattle hosed its chance of adding another socialist to city council

also ohio is weapons-grade stupid by overwhelmingly voting against capping drug prices. it wasn't even close

ohio issue 2 was a weird as hell proposal that would have mandated that the state PAY no more than the VA for prescription drugs, rather than say something more obvious like making the pharma companies cap THEIR prices. it also mandated that the state would be responsible for any legal fees past $10K if the proposal was passed and challenged in court, which it obviously would have been. which isn't really a big deal, but still. also no one was able to answer what would happen in the case that the VA did not buy medications that the state does buy, which isn't just some hypothetical since ohio medicaid and the VA treat very different demographics.

i'm not saying that ohio isn't weapons grade stupid (we are), but the whole thing was very strange and left a sour taste in my mouth for making capping drug prices a much more complex proposal than it needed to be. i still voted for it simply because the drug companies were against it, but you had wackadoodle poo poo like the cleveland stonewall dems endorsing issue 2, and the columbus stonewall dems opposing it.

Sara Cambensy won the state legislature seat in Michigan's 109th district in the UP of the state. She's replacing a Democrat who committed suicide last summer, so it's good the Democrats retained the seat.

so you're saying that this is similar to the legal weed ballot question a couple years ago that would have made a few rich people in charge of that entire sector of the economy? why can't ohio just put straightforward proposals up to a vote?

While its not as easy to get crazy poo poo on the ballot as in CA, its still possible to do. It’s a big reason why Ohio didn’t join WI in the right to work push a few years back as much as Hungry Man Kasich tried. These are all constitutional amendments so they need another vote to change. We voted to move Columbus’s casino because the original amendment specified the address.

Sorry to say that the 4% in question is most likely just statistical noise.
