These random "just not at it" clown shows are bizarre and rather irritating. I don't get why none of the players apart from the keeper and Valencia can put a long run of good form together. Pogba, Mkhitaryan(?) and Lukaku all started the season well and have been streaky to non existent since. Same with Smalling and Jones. Martial is always either dire or scores worldies, Pogba either dominates matches or is completely ineffectual. Is it because Mourinho doesn't rotate unless forced by injury? Pogba shouldn't be that knackered he had a long lay off, Mickyryan suddenly looked like he had a case of the  It's baffling how a manager whose speciality was teams willing to die for him on the pitch, can't keep his players up for it in the big occasions, or for any decent run of form. It's as if they all thought they'd be running away with it by Christmas and gave up when City continued their relentless run. They appear to be mentally weak and it's unacceptable.

Smalling is a joke, he's mentally switched off for like 90% of matches. All the talent in the world but no footballing brain. Matic has regressed incredibly in the past few months, he can barely make a 10 yard pass so that obviously impacts Pogba. The whole point of signing Matic was to relieve Pogba of defensive responsibility. Mourinho's tactics are a problem as well. Playing Lukaku as a lone striker when he tries to track back to midfield to receive the ball is asinine. One of Martial/Rashford/Sanchez should play behind Lukaku as a way to try and be creative. Lukaku seems to spend most matches flicking on or knocking down balls to no one. It's not like United are lacking pace on attack, they're just not utilizing it.

Mourinho hasn't evolved. United win games because of the incredible talent they have but any time they come up against a decent side they're outplayed and out pressed.
