Not sure what forum this question belongs in, so here goes:

I'm trying to pick out a countertop dishwasher for my office. We're wondering if there's a unit that connects to the water line the same way our Keurig does, rather than use an adapter with the sink faucet.

Also, what options do we have for drainage - tube into the sink, or is there anything else?

I'd love any pointers you can share.

A pint of plain is your only man
My great uncle died and left me a mini dishwasher from about 1998 that had a cold water line intake, heating element and drainage pump, so you'll probably be alright. I can't check what brand it is because I immediately gave it to my aunt (I like doing dishes) but I think it was a Bosch

I washed dishes by hand with my then wife. After I caught her having multiple affairs, I filed for divorce. Hand washing became a chore and something that brought me no joy since she and I would use that time to talk. Since I didn't have a built in dishwasher, I bought an SPT 2213W from Amazon. Wish now I'd done it years ago.

Granted, it doesn't fit everything. I still have to wash pots and pans by hand. But for forks, knives, small plates, glasses, etc. It's a godsend. It's too tall to sit under my cabinets, so it sits beside the sink where used to pile the dishes. I'll do a load every day, but it doesn't use a lot of water, and it doesn't leak everywhere.

If you're sick of daily dish detail, and ready for a break, get you one of these badbois.

Thanks, I actually just decided and picked one a few hours ago. It came down to a Danby and an SPT. I suggested the Danby as it would arrive faster. As long as it holds everyone's coffee mugs, we're good to go.

honestly you should be handwashing pots and pans anyway, assuming that they have a Teflon coating (most do these days)

This is just for dishes in an office, mostly coffee mugs and a few other things. No cookware.
