I'm looking to start a business and the main part of it allows for people to list their items for sale or auction on a website. I've come across a handfull of off-the-shelf auction sites but I'm wondering if any software exists that allows individuals to post items for sale for a certain period of time and also allows exists companies to have their own "store" within the site, like eBay allows for. The software needs to let many individuals have accounts and list their own items within the main site. Does anyone have experience with something like this?

I don't know enough to recommend anything, but I can tell you that Volo is awful and should never be used by anyone ever to sell stuff online.
