the jungle monarchy is what is know as an elective monarchy

the entirety of the titled nobility (no land required!) of the jungle meets at an assembly (the sejm) to chose between a large host of candidates from the various great families of the african continent, where the winner is elected king for life.

whenever the sitting king of the jungle expires (or abdicates), the sejm reassembles to elect a new monarch

the local nobility of the jungle has however been weakened for generations, and the monarchs are usually elected from other areas, where the savannah lions have dominated jungle politics for decades

by the time the fascists were ousted, he was railroaded into the position of leader of the jungle socialist party. when the other parties capitulated, it was mainly due to the implicit threat of a soviet invasion.

while he may very well be a real jungle war hero, he was still groomed by the soviets for leadership of a satellite nation

his cult of personality through his active participation as a partisan was planned by stalin

chairman lion is nothing but an apparatchik puppet
