Spiking the ball and doing a real play to get closer was probably a better decision but it is not like scoring a TD from the 40 is a realistic option to getting closer for a doink.

They burned something like 45 seconds off the clock for no reason while they had a timeout. They could have ran at least 2-3 more plays if not more. Garrett was comfortable playing for the tie and OT instead of even trying to score a TD and win.

Giants are obviously staring at a full rebuild. No one thinks shurmur is the man for that job do they just keep him around for two seasons to run practice and hope they draft some good players while getting out f their bad contracts? do they offer eli a front office position to get him to retire? do they murder nate solder?
