Everyone loves jesus. jesus this jesus that. God gets a lot of shout outs too. Thank god. God is good. God will punish you. But what about the third member of the trinity why no respect no name drops? The super bowl winner never says "i couldnt have done it without the holy ghost"

Mark was written first, then Matthew, Luke, and finally John. See for yourself. The point, at that time, was really more that he was a great teacher and an important prophet. No one in Mark, Jesus included, sees Jesus as any sort of God. The story just keeps getting exaggerated with each telling. A game of inter-generational telephone. No resurrection. Oops! Yeah, the final chapter of Mark is pretty well accepted by NT scholars to be completely fabricated much later to put it more in-line with the later gospels. Jesus is clearly considered fully human in Mark. No one says anything otherwise, and as you said, there isn't even a resurrection until much later when one was added by a completely different writer. As the other gospels were later written, they added more divine attributes to him as the official doctrine of the church began to change. The big thing he said was "Love thy neighbor". That was all he wanted.
