Here is a mural of Eazy-E, in Lo Prado, Santiago de Chile. Lo Prado is one of Santiago's poorer comunas, but its more like "run down dusty" poor than Compton in the 80s poor.

This mural is also on Avendia General Oscar Bonilla, named after Pinochet's first Defense Minister, whose helicopter blew up the day after he found out how much torture was going on and complained about it.

The moral of the stories of Eazy-E and Oscar Bonilla, is to be more careful of who you are in bed with.

Woah, is this a drawing based on the one of the old "WTF, D&D?" campaigns from the front page? That was one of my favorite front page articles of all time. Coolest D&D campaign ever.

Gonna look it up, brb...

Dang, Parsons and Steve did two sets campaigns with EZ, Cobain, and pals. I only recalled one. Heading out the door shortly but now I got some reading for this evening! I remember the one, I think the second one where they end up in the Salton Sea, and summon the demon thing in the pic, vaguely.

First one starts here:
https://www.somethingawful.com/dungeons-and-dragons/call-of-cobain/1/

Those campaigns are pretty awesome literary tributes if nothing else.

Sweet, checking that out next.

Not to distract from the bench memorial, but I re-read the old D&D campaigns, and any sane person would be proud to be memorialized in such a way.
Check out this setup for one of the final scenes:

"In last week's installment, which you should probably just read, Eazy E summoned a Servitor of the Outer Gods named Station which the gang used to escape the FBI and police. They then smuggled Station under a tarp into Janet Jackson's dressing room at the presidential debate being held at Mann's Chinese Theatre. Cobain, Left Eye and E then busted into Morton Downey Junior's dressing room with the intention of confronting him about his involvement in a radiation cult"

Yeah, there's few opportunities in life to come across better story telling.

I linked the first installment above, second installment here: https://www.somethingawful.com/dungeons-and-dragons/morton-downey-cobain/1/

Now I have to read Hard Ticket to Baghdad again....
