What can you do without putting the aircraft in an unrecoverable situation, overtaxing the airframe etc etc. But, if you're planning on crashing, why would you care if you were flying at lamppost level or could just barely get the airplane pointed at the building you want to crash into?

They would just need some kind of transponder, or homing beacon per se, in the part of the building they wanted to hit- similar to how both WTC were also bulls-eyes on the first attempt
