For leveling it is mostly the 2hf changes, but at endgame you are running a ton of melee power by being able to keep your tier 5 enhancements stacked in raids, you have huge saves and prr and mrr so are incredibly sturdy. You also get a lot of turn undead charges to use on Confront Any Foe, which you twist from divine crusader epic destiny, so your burst damage is just stupid. The last piece to be truly OP is to go Purple Dragon Knight, use a +1 heart to be a pure Paladin, so you can be purely charisma based. Your tactics dc are >140, saves high, only have to stack one stat for your damage and divine might, etc.
