I literally see about as many of these signs now as the "hot tub for cheap" or "i buy houses cash" signs up on power-lines and telephone poles now. Between that and gofundme, the idea that anyone can look at how we as a country handle poverty or health care and think "this is fine" deserves to be left in the wilderness with nothing but a pair of boots to tug on. I've made a point of not memorizing my blood type, so "I'm not sure what my blood type is" can be my go-to for organ-needers like "sorry, I don't have any cash on me" is for traditional beggars.

I'm 36 and I never carry cash unless there some bullshit return policy where they can't just refund straight to debit. We keep a couple hundred in 20s in a drawer at the house for emergencies (along with our checkbook and credit card and other poo poo we basically never use) but I hardly ever keep it on my person.
