Rocks are very important to our planet. They make up probably like 50% of it by volume (just a guess!) So to celebrate post rock in this thread! Gravel is important for country roads that connect the heartland together. Even though it's a stone, a stone is a type of rock. The Rosetta Stone is like really good at learning languages or something. Mount Rushmore has rock faces of some really serious looking guys on it for some reason. WHY SO SERIOUS??? Remember that? I know what you're saying. "OP, magma is a liquid so it can't be a rock!" Well hold onto your butts because I'm about to blow your mind... magma is melted rock! See? I told you rocks are important! So post 'em! Escape From Noise fucked around with this message at 05:31 on Feb 22, 2020 |

over millenia, the dagger evolved from stone, to copper, to bronze and finally to steel to keep up with the evolutionary needs of shanking its prey. Scientists speculate that asteroids are a similar species of dagger that have evolved to shank entire populations of dinosaurs in one stab.

Rock on, igneous. Rock over, sedimentary. Metamorphic: you're in good hands. |

https://www.dailysquat.com/the-rock...XLf09lgnNupbkYo Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has angered geology fans by refusing to confirm exactly what kind of rock he is. The actor and former WWE wrestler has so far avoided answering any questions on whether he’s sedimentary, igneous or metamorphic. ‘This is a very basic geological question and yet this so-called “The Rock” refuses to answer it. What is he hiding? I think we have a right to know,’ said Mandy Roethlisberger, a professional in the field. While The Rock has all the usual lumps and bumps one would associate with a rock, there are some rumblings that he might not even be a rock at all. ‘He’s just a muscular man. I’ve seen his long-form birth certificate,’ said Donald Trump. We reached out to The Rock for a comment but his agent told us he was currently undergoing restoration work to repair some light weathering. https://i.imgur.com/QKTkerO.mp4 |
