Hi,

This issue is coming up when connecting to my work Windows 10 machine from home. It occurs if I try to open a new instance of RStudio. After doing some searching apparently the issue has to do with ATI graphics drivers, and is not really an issue with RStudio itself (I cannot find any search results for this error while using RStudio even). For example there are many search results for this for all different piece of software, e.g.

I've gone through this proposed solution with my work IT, which also involves reinstalling the drivers, to no avail.

I found some other ideas here but I am not sure which is appropriate given how drastic some of them are.

I have NOT had this issue opening other applications (and again this is only occurring when connected from home using Cisco AnyConnect and MS Remote Desktop), however I only use a few applications, i.e. I'm sure there are others where this occurs, but I just don't use them.

Any suggestions?

I can give more hardware or other info if needed. Thanks.
