Maybe one day the owner will give a poo poo enough to want to actually beat one of those teams. As it is, FC Dallas is always selling its best players and limping into the playoffs as the underdog. Their....2016 postseason appearance, I think, where they were the #1 seed? Injured to hell and back. I really don't hate the team, and honestly not even the organization as a whole. I just hate Clark Hunt with a passion. His idea of skins on the wall is probably the Chief's championship and MLS "I sniffed the playoffs" ribbons.

They did, and they shuttered it. Montréal is in a similar boat to the struggling 96 teams in that they've made a bad first impression that's stuck (they are actually older than MLS and have had the same ownership the whole time IIRC) but This Is Not The Way.
