The thing that was awful about that show was how any given arc was resolved. I don't know if people care about spoilers for a decade old show, but: It seemed like every arc ended with a really huge build up of tension and danger that was immediately deflated. I remember one arc where some tough drug dealer was out to get the main character and she's in a lot of danger and then the next episode just starts out with the FDA guy who has a crush on her arresting him and just instantly killing the whole arc. I think season 3 ended with the FDA closing in on her operations when suddenly the whole town burns down! Hurray! Now all the evidence is gone. It could have so easily been a better show, but they could not resolve plots. |
