I'm not familiar with this older tech. Found while cleaning out my father's estate. Somebody tell me what this is, and if there is a company I can mail it to who can recover any data.

I'm pretty sure it's Super 8mm film. Each one would be around 3 minutes. I'd guess they're home movies. Super 8 film was invented in 1965 so they can't be older than that. I'm sure you can get it transferred at a lot of places online.
