insurance is a scam. I've paid thousands of dollars into it only for the damage to my truck be worth conveniently 200 dollars more than what the truck was valued at so instead I get to go gently caress myself and do some dance of taking the insurance payout. buying my truck back and then repairing the damage and getting it recertified and re-registered and all this other poo poo. except not all of the damage is even repaired and it still doesn't drive as well as it used to. all for a piece of poo poo truck I didn't like in the first place to drive to a place I didn't want to go in extremely dangerous conditions for no good reason. insurance is as bad as CPP and EI when it comes to the ratio of what you pay vs what you get.
